EVANGELISM TOOL

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

INTRODUCTION:

The best way to evangelize effectively is to understand what is God's plan for the wicked, to know how pitiful the sinner is in the eyes of God and to know the bondage in which the wicked is held. There is a call that God has made to all humanity, that is, to repent and come back to God, but this call is met with rebellion, skepticism and unbelief. We need to understand that they are held by demonic forces that need to be expelled or cast out ( Matthew 12:29; Mark 3:27) For this reason we need the word of God and the power of the holy Spirit, just as Jesus did and trained the disciples to do the same. Man refuse to believe that they are under satanic bondage and that they are lost and have a need of a savior. Their refusal to accept the truth of their condition has drifted them farther away from God and his Holy Scriptures, as this generation seek its own selfish way of satisfaction at the expense of holiness.

As the judgement of God tarry, many seared their consciences to the judgement God apportioned to those who live ungodly, thinking that once they put them out of their memory it will never come, but, surprisingly, the judgement of God will come unexpectedly as it was in the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37).

We need to approach evangelism as Jesus did:

1. We must spend time in prayer and ask God for the follow

A. Humility (Matthew 10:16)

B. Wisdom (James 1:5)

C. Discernment (Philippians 1:9)

D. Boldness (Acts 4:13, 4:29; Eph. 6:19; Prov. 28:1)

E. Love And Compassion(Col. 3:12; Luke 10:30-35; Gal. 9-10; Mat. 9:36:38)

F. Power to cast devils and to heal the sick ( luke 10:19; Mat 10:1)

2. We must invest time in the study of the Holy Scriptures (Hebrews 4:12; Proverbs 3:1

3. We must see how miserable human condition is( Matthew 9:36)

4. We must know that the sinner is held bond by satan ( Eph. 2:1-3)

5. We must know the need to be empowered before we go to save the sinner (Matthew 10:1)

6. We must go in company unless specifically directed by the Holy Spirit (Luke 10:1-3)

2 Peter 3:10-11  10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13  11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. 12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

Romans 2:4-9 4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5 But because of your hardness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God's righteous judgment is revealed. 6 He will repay each one according to his works:7 eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but wrath and indignation to those who are self- seeking and disobey the truth but are obeying unrighteousness; 9 affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;

Isaiah 55:1, 6-7 1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. ........6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

It is never in the nature of human beings to easily receive the truth right away, because truth always attempt to gain access to our consciences and reveal what we have always been hiding; motives and the ugly part of us we dread if known to anyone. To test this statement, let read the following scripture and see if we will readily accept the fact that there is a power controlling us not to accept God's grace presented through Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Isn't it hard for you to believe that you are blinded by the devil who is the god of this world? I can bet you that you barely believe that you are even lost and have a need of a savior. You probably also doubt that God will throw anybody into the lake of fire or hell. So here is the truth, you are blinded by the devil who has successfully deceived you into thinking that you are not blind, why? because the devil knows that if you realize your blindness to the truth, you will seek help and get delivered from his power. The devil never let go his victims until a stronger power overcomes him, and that stronger power is the power of Jesus Christ's name.

Luke 11:21-22 21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

So there is a powerful force holding people bond, blindfolded and wishing that they never come to the knowledge of the truth. The devil Knows that if you know the truth it will set you free from the power of sin. The power to save you is not in your hands, but Jesus Christ's. God has given people the option to humble themselves so that his power will pull them out of the mud of sin. (Psalm 40:2; John 6:44, 65). There are two powers in operation fighting for your soul and allegiance, (1) the power of God, and (2) the power of satan. You are either controlled by the power of the Holy Spirit from God, or a demonic spirit from satan.

There is also the temptation for assume that they are fine and have done enough good to be accepted by God. In this case they are counting on their good works which is judged by their own set of standards. This is called self righteousness. When people have to be the one to establish standard by which God has to judge anyone then there is big problem, because God never judge anyone by their own standard, but God's standard. Those who will seek to justify themselves ask the individual if they have ever taken Heaven Entrance Exam ( Is called the Ten Commandments). If God judge you by his own standards will you pass? (Deuteronomy 5:7-21)

1. You shall not have any other god beside me.

Have you EVER placed a value on anything or anyone above God?

2. Do not make graven images to worship as god. Either the likeness of things in the water or on the earth.

Have you EVER worship any other god or image beside Jehovah God?

3. You shall not take the name of God in vain, because God will not spare anyone who take his name for granted.

Have you EVER sworn falsely in the name of God or used his name in the midst of cursing?

4. Observe the Sabbath to keep it holy.

Have you EVER broken the Sabbath by not doing those things that honor God?

5. Honor your father and mother for long life.

Have you EVER disrespected or disobeyed your parents?

6. Do not kill or murder.

Have you killed someone in your life or wished someone dead, or got angry at anyone without a justifiable cause (Matthew 2:22)?

7. Do not have sex with any person you are not married to

Have you EVER slept with someone you are not married to?

8. Do not steal

Have you EVER taken anything that does not belong to you regardless the size?

9. Do not lie or bear false witness against anyone

Have you EVER told a lie?

10. Do not be envious of anyone's wife or anything that belong to someone else.

Have you EVER been envious of what your neighbor has or been jealous of your neighbor's wife?

If you have EVER broken any of laws of God it means God will find you guilty on the day of judgement and cast you into the lake of fire (HELL). How did you do on God's basic heaven entrance test? Not so good as you thought, right? This is why you need Jesus Christ's death to plead on your behalf. You can pride yourself and think of how good you are when you compare yourself with your neighbors, but when God will judge you by his own standard on the day of judgement you will be condemned and be thrown in the lake of fire.

Romans 6:23 The wages of SIN is DEATH but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. You might say, but I am a good person, because I treat everyone nice. Then read the following scripture and see how you can justify yourself before God apart from Christ.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

Romans 3:10-12 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Psalm 1:6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Ezekiel 33:14 So when I tell the wicked person, 'You will surely die,' but he repents of his sin and does what is just and right - he returns collateral, makes restitution for what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without practicing iniquity - he will certainly live; he will not die.

Matthew 9:13b .........for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Rev. 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:which is the second death.

God created us after his own glorious image for a very important reasons and placed us in a unique position until sin changed our glory and the position God originally placed us. We were also given an assignment which we rarely fully understand. It is only by the spirit of God we can fully understand our assignment. God also put in our innate, an important but complex talent and skills so that we can fulfill his intended assignment ( Ps. 139:14-18). This complexity also reflects the infinite wisdom of Jehovah God.

The seriousness of what sin has done to the human race is equally proportionate to the kind of rescue mission God put in place to deliver us from sin and its consequences. It was for our sins that Jesus Christ came to die a shameful death. As humanity increase in numbers and in knowledge, so has iniquity and lack of fear for God. The sense of holiness, respect for the elderly, protection for children & women, and love for one another has faded away so rapidly ( Isaiah 53:3-5; Romans 3:23).

Isaiah 53:3-6 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised , and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken , smitten of God, and afflicted . 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed 6 All we like sheep have gone astray ; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Lately, we see how people have become more dishonest and callous (Matt. 13:15). We have subjected our life to debased lifestyle in a way that has made the value for human life seem to worth less than that of a cat or a dog as people will rather treat their cats or dogs with more compassion than they will with human life. Incidents of killings, rebellion against authority and parents are all time high. Sexual promiscuity and ungodly acts are at rampant, and this only gets worse over time.

GOD's ORIGINAL INTENT FOR CREATING MANKIND:

God's original intent for creating human being was for us to:

1) Live forever; to live eternally without seeing death and to having constant connection with God

2) Worship Him; Giving him reverence, submit to his word and acknowledging him in every ways ( Ps. 134:1-3)

3) Be stewards and rulers of the earth. We are the ones he has given authority to maintain, control and utilize the earth. We are to discharge this responsibilities through his commandments.

4) Spend time and fellowship with him; it is never God's intention to separate himself from his creation (Isaiah 59:1-4), especially mankind, but to maintain covenant fellowship with mankind through the ordinances of;

A. Prayer ( Praise, thanksgiving, supplication, and intercession )

B. Studying of his word

C. Our reasonable services to God and Human

D. Holy Spirit in us; this is why it is important to be filled with the holy ghost

Isaiah 59:1-4, Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. 4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

5) Give an account of our stewardship to God at an appointed time. At the giving of an account, we shall also received rewards for job well done. There will also be regretful situation when the unfaithful will see their work burst into flames when it is tested.

1 Cor. 3:13-15 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Galatians 6:7-9  7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

1 Peter 1:7  7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

SIN AND ITS CONSEQUENCE

Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The most serious thing that we have to deal with is SIN. The first sin was committed by Lucifer or Satan and made him an enemy of God as he rebelled against God. Satan was never forgiven but was kicked out of heaven, because God did not create the Angels to ever sin whilst at God's services. Satan is now set to be sentenced and cast into the lake of fire (hell) on the the day of judgement. This include all the other Angels that are held bond in chains, and all those who refuses God's offer for salvation, both in Old Testament and in the New Testament.

The forgiveness of sin and the consequences of sin have two distinctions. For the fact that your sin is been forgiven doesn't mean that everything sin brought to your life is dealt with right away. For example, if you went and robbed a bank and you got shot in your spine by the police and you are paralyzed or lost a limb, if you hear the gospel preached and You repent and gave your life to CHRIST, You will not necessarily be exonerated from jail time, or get out of the wheelchair or grow your limb back.

Another example, if you committed fornication and you contracted STD and you ask God to forgive you for the fornication committed; God will forgive you alright, but you will still have to see a physician for a treatment. This is what happened when Adam and Eve sinned. They were forgiven as God had mercy on them, but the consequences of their act of sin was dealt with differently. After they were forgiven, eternal life was restored, spiritual life was restored to some extent, but physical death which came by sin was not restored, this will not happen until the second coming of Christ. So the sin Adam & Eve committed made them enemies of God until God dealt with the sin they committed. By that act of one man, sin entered into the world which, consequently, brought about the eternal death, spiritual death as well as physical death.

THREE KINDS OF DEATH

1) Eternal Death:

This is when a person has not repented of sin and believe in Christ, therefore lost his/her candidacy for living forever in righteousness in the kingdom of heaven at the final judgment. This person become an enemy of God due to sin and their refusal to accept God's offer of a savior that appeases God's anger.

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer, because the previous things have passed away.

2) Spiritual Death:

This is the state where a person is unable to hear God or speak to God. Their actions are not prompted by the spirit or the word of God. Their thought-life is carnal and repulsive to God continually.

Romans 8:5-8 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

3) Physical Death:

This is the cessation of the functions of all vital organs and senses of the body. Physical death which came as a consequence of sin is still in effect. Someone said "one out of one will die" which is true. Even though God forgave Eve & Adam for the sin they committed, death still happens. It will perpetuate through all generations until Jesus Christ comes the second time. The holy scriptures says that death is the last enemy to be destroyed.

Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Genesis. 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever

Ezekiel 18:4 4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

1 Corinthians 15:25-26, 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:for the former things are passed away.

Adam & Eve failed at the time of accountability or reckoning. They did not fully obeyed God or discharged their stewardship as God commanded them. They allowed Satan, who is looking for companionship and accomplice on his way to hell, to deceive them to disobey God's commands. It is a serious sin and capital offense against God when one does not follow what God has commanded. Because Adam & Eve were the first human being created, their act of sin polluted their sinless and pure innate, which in turn affected their offsprings (all human race) giving us the sinful nature and the desire to sin than to maintain purity without help.

Isaiah 64:6-7 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

Isaiah 59:1-2, 1 Indeed, the LORD'S hand is not too short to save, and His ear is not too deaf to hear. 2 But your iniquities have built barriers between you and your God, and your sins have made Him hide His face from you so that He does not listen.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all men, because all sinned.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

THREE KINDS OF LIFE

There are three kinds of life that one can live, of which everyone has its reward or consequences. they are physical/carnal life, eternal life, and Spiritual life.

1) Physical/Carnal Life; It is sensual life we live through the senses of vision, feel, taste, smell and hearing. Just living by these will not grant any everlasting benefits, in fact, it will make you spiritually dead.

1 Timothy 4:8  8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Romans 8:4-8 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

2) Eternal Life; The state of being in union with God through Christ as one sins are forgiven. Eternal life is given to mankind through Jesus Christ alone

John 3:16-17 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

3) Spiritual Life; Life lived through obedience to the commandment of Jehovah God as one is guided by the holy spirit. To be able to live spiritually, you need eternal life. Many have tried to live spiritual life without the spirit of Christ and they wind up becoming occults. Many have also contracted demonic spirits, because they wanted to live spiritual life using carnal methods without tapping into the spirit of God.

YOU NEED TO MAKE PEACE WITH GOD

Have you ever lost a loved one, and did you feel sad and asked where he/she will spend eternity? Frankly speaking, that question should have been asked when your loved one was alive, because asking this question after anyone's death is too late and baseless, unless it is asked to give the living a reason to repent. Because you cannot change your eternal destiny after death; there is not such a thing as purgatory as that is a deception. Anyone who refuses to repent and put their trust in Christ goes to hell, if you don't think you have sinned enough to deserve hell ask yourself if you have obeyed all the ten commandments. This is why we are asking that question now that you are alive, because at your death this question will be too late and baseless.

My friend you need Jesus Christ just as everyone else to make him Lord and master. This is why we are giving you the good news of the gospel to repent and be Saved so that you will go to Heaven at end of your life on earth or when Christ appears!!!

(1) God loves You!! Romans 5:8, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16-17,  16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. KJV

(2) Your Sin (or Disobedience to God's commandments) has Separated You from God!!

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV)

Romans 5:12, Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

(3) Only Through Jesus-Christ Can Your Sins Be Forgiven!!

Acts 4:12, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. "God has appointed only Jesus Christ as the only savior and no one else"

4) Will You Repent Today And Receive Jesus-Christ as Your Lord or Master & Savior (or Rescuer)?Mark 1:15, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.Repent (Through Prayer), Sorrowfully tell God You're a Sinner, willing to turn from Your Sins and trust Jesus-Christ's shed Blood and Death on the Cross for Full Payment for Your Sins and willing to Follow Him.

The most important decision a person can make in their entire life is where they will spend eternity. Will you go to Heaven and spend eternity with God? OR will you go to Hell and spend eternity separated from God and be tormented? When you ask the average person that question they will usually say Heaven. You ask them why they believe that and you will get many answers. This is what you mostly hear; I am good person, or I go to Church, or I give to charity, or I have been baptised, or I have been confirmed, and the list goes on. This is what you hear people say with no reference to what the bible says. God's word (The Holy Scriptures) tell us that only those who are born again will go to Heaven when they die or when Christ comes back. Only those who have their sins forgiven and believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died and God raised him from the dead will go to Heaven.

The Holy Scriptures clearly states that the only payment acceptable to God for our sin against him is that blood of his son Jesus-Christ. Your good works are not good enough. Your righteousness is as filthy as rags pulled out of the sewage, according to the Holy Scriptures. The good news is that God loves you so much that He wrapped His love in the flesh to pay the price for your sin that you could not pay.

In Christ there is forgiveness of sin, a home in Heaven, communion with the holy spirit and relationship with the heavenly Father. My prayer for you is that you see your need for the savior and turn to Him. Through prayer ask for forgiveness of your sin and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord.

ETERNAL DAMNATION (HELL)

All those who sin and rejects God's plan of salvation are enemies of God, according to the holy scriptures. These have not the spirit of Christ, and anyone without the spirit of Christ is carnally minded whose deeds are considered sinful and has no love for the saints. They have been deceived and the truth is not in them. These have no eternal life, and without eternal life, their final destination is the lake of fire ( hell)

Revelation 20: 10  And the Satan who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire

Romans 1:18-19  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Romans 2:2-6  2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. 3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? 4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 5:5-6 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Colossians 3:6-9  6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Hebrews 9:27-28 27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, 28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Psalm 9:17 The wicked will return to Sheol - all the nations that forget God.

Numbers 32:23 But if you don't do this, you will certainly sin against the Lord; be sure your sin will catch up with you.

Jeremiah 17:10 10 "I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds."

1John 3:9-10; Everyone who has been born of God does not sin, because His seed remains in him; he is not able to sin, because he has been born of God. 10 This is how God's children - and the Devil's children - are made evident. Whoever does not do what is right is not of God, especially the one who does not love his brother.

Romans. 8:5-9, 5 For those who live according to the flesh think about the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, about the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace. 7 For the mindset of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit itself to God's law, for it is unable to do so. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God lives in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Revelation 21:8 But the cowards, unbelievers, vile, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars - their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

THE REDEMPTION THROUGH THE DEATH OF CHRIST

No sin is ever forgiven without a cost. The way God forgave sin in the ancient time was by the blood of sheep, bulls and goats. The price of these Sheep, Bulls and Goats were costly, and many could not afford them. If the same demands was placed on us, many of us would not be able to afford them; mind you, this was to be done every one committed sin and there was another for the general assembly. God made a new covenant with mankind, of which the blood of his own son, JESUS CHRIST was shed, so that his blood will purge away the sins of whosoever will believe in his name. This is how God forgive our sins and save us from the wrath to come.

Exodus 29:14 But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin offering.

Numbers 7:15 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering: 16 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:

Leviticus 4:20-21 20 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them. 21 And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.

Hebrews 9:12-14  12 He entered the most holy place once for all, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow, sprinkling those who are defiled, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of the Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to serve the living God?..............21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Ephesians 4:7 We have redemption in Him through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.

John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Here is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. KJV

Matthew 6: 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow:for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.KJV

Romans 5:6-8, 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Acts 16:31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household."

Colossians 1:13-14 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (KJV)

THE DECISION TO MAKE BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

Mankind were willing, in the Old Testament, to buy sheep, bull and goat for their sin offering, but people find it difficult to repent and put their trust in the lord Jesus Christ for salvation in this era. As much as any will like to choose their own method by which they want to be saved, or be acceptable to God. God only accept one method, thus, the blood and the death of Jesus, The Christ.

Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people, and we must be saved by it.

John 14:6 Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord does not delay His promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.

Hebrews 9:27 And just as it is appointed for people to die once - and after this, judgment.

CONFESSION OF SIN AND REPENTANCE:

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

It is not enough for one to just confess what they have done wrong, but equally important also to change (repent) the mentality and habit that pursue sin. It is good for a sinner to confess that they have sinned, but it is more important or better that the sinner change the inner habit that lead to outward action of impropriety. It is the power of the gospel through the Holy Spirit to help change the inner man and his or her thought life.

Proverbs 28:13 The one who conceals his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them will find mercy.

1 John 1:9-10 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say, "We don't have any sin," we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Jeremiah 8:5-6  5 Why have these people turned away? Why is Jerusalem always turning away? They take hold of deceit; they refuse to return. 6 I have paid careful attention. They do not speak what is right. No one regrets his evil, asking, 'What have I done?' Everyone has stayed his course like a horse rushing into battle

Romans 10:8-13 8 On the contrary, what does it say? The message is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the message of faith that we proclaim: 9 If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. 11 Now the Scripture says, Everyone who believes on Him will not be put to shame, 12 for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, since the same Lord of all is rich to all who call on Him. 13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved

ETERNAL LIFE (SALVATION)

Although man sinned and became dead spiritually, eternally, and died physically with time, out of love for his creation, God maintained his original plan to restore man to the state where we can live out eternal life with God. This is the reason why God gave his own son as the lamb for sin offering to propitiate for our sin. There will be two side of eternity; Eternal damnation and Eternal peace with God. Anyone who will repent and accept Christ as savior will be delivered from eternal damnation and the wrath of God to come.

Romans 6:22-23  22 But now, since you have been liberated from sin and have become enslaved to God, you have your fruit, which results in sanctification - and the end is eternal life! 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 John 5:9-13  9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation - whom should I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life - of whom should I be afraid?

Psalm 68:19-20  19 May the Lord be praised! Day after day He bears our burdens; God is our salvation. 20 Our God is a God of salvation, and escape from death belongs to the Lord GOD.

Isaiah 12:1-4, 1 On that day you will say: "I will praise You, LORD, although You were angry with me. Your anger has turned away, and You have had compassion on me. 2 Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust Him and not be afraid, for Yah, the LORD, is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation." 3 You will joyfully draw water from the springs of salvation,

John 3:16-17  16 "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Romans 5:9-11  9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Philippians 2:12 So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

CALL UNTO GOD FOR HELP

Romans 10:13 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

After you have understood where you stand in terms of God's judgement against the sinner, you need to call upon him in repentance and accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior. If there is any situation you are wrestling with this is the time to cry unto God for help, and talk to the pastor, or one of our team members to help you break any demonic power that is working against your life.

Everything that happened in your life has a reason, a cause and source. Those things which has its root embedded in demonic origin of a sort, has to be traced and rooted out by the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 26:2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

Psalm 65:2-4  2 All humanity will come to You, the One who hears prayer. 3 Iniquities overwhelm me; only You can atone for our rebellions. 4 How happy is the one You choose and bring near to live in Your courts! We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, the holiness of Your temple.

Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Allow God to restore you for the years that you have been a victim to the deception and the lies of the devil as you jumped at his bid, because you were blind to spiritual things.

BE BAPTIZED IN WATER AND BE TAUGHT THE BIBLE

Baptism is by way of immersion into water signifying burial and death to sin and publicly display of your disassociation with worldliness and identifying with Christ. Studying the holy scriptures and living by them is paramount to your spiritual growth and understanding God's plan for your life now and into eternity. It will help you to know how walk in truth, how to relate to God and your fellow human being.

Acts 8:36-38  36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Matthew 28:18-19  18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Romans 5:9-10 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Matthew 2 8:20 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Psalm 119:9-12   9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. 12 Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 3:16-17  16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

NOW THAT YOU ARE SAVED WALK WITH CHRIST THROUGH OBEDIENCE

Now that you have repented of your sins and put your trust in Christ, you have a new life (born again) and the spirit of Christ is in you. The new life you have now, has to grow and bear fruit, therefore you need the aid of the Holy Spirit, who work through studying & obeying the bible, fellowship with Holy Spirit-filled believers or church, living a holy life, and prayer. As ministry we have the responsibility to pray for and with you so that the Holy Spirit will give you the understanding of the mystery of Christ.

Ephesians 1:13-19  13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. 15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Be willing to let go those habits and behavior that the bible speaks against. Don't justify any ungodly habit and do not be defensive when reproved by the Holy Spirit or his Word. Don't give up when you begin to lose friends. Your new life will draw different kinds of friends as it will also repel certain friends. The new spirit in you know what is from God and what is not, so seek his directions through prayer and you will be amazed what he can do with your life.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18  14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God's children,

1 John 1:6-7  6 Now this is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in Him. 6 If we say, "We have fellowship with Him," yet we walk in darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Titus 3:4-7 4 But when the goodness of God and His love for mankind appeared, 5 He saved us - not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. 6 He poured out his Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.

John 15:3-4 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.

1 John 2:3-6  6 This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His commands. 4 The one who says, "I have come to know Him," yet doesn't keep His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly in him the love of God is perfected. This is how we know we are in Him: 6 The one who says he remains in Him should walk just as He walked.

1 John 3:13-15  13 Do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death. 15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

2 John 1:9 Anyone who does not remain in Christ's teaching but goes beyond it, does not have God. The one who remains in that teaching, this one has both the Father and the Son.

FELLOWSHIP WITH THOSE IN CHRIST JESUS

It is imperative that you fellowship with Christians who share your new faith and belief so that you can learn and grow together. We know that as a new Christian you might not know what is a bible believing church is so we are here to help you find one.

Hebrews 10:23-25   23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

If you are reading this as a evangelism worker instruct the sinner to repent of his/her sin and accept Christ as his/her savior to avoid God's wrath, because this will be the right time to be saved from God's anger. Tell him/her to Believe and Pray this prayer; "Heavenly father I am sorry for my sin against you, I repent of my sins and ask you to forgive me of all my sins against you. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and the savior of my life. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, he died and rose again on the third day for my redemption. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus Christ's name I pray.

We need to teach the new believers the Holy Scriptures and assist them to understand the application of them.

After you are saved, one of the things you need to do is to ask the forgiveness of those you have hurt; reconcile with them if they will allow, and also forgive those who have wronged you. If you have neglected your responsibility as a father or as a mother to your children, this is the time you use wisdom and reconcile and pick up your responsibility. If there are court orders, then seek the right legal process, biblical/spiritual counseling and prayer to attain the right to your children. Become a peacemaker and rebuilder of the ruins.

Malachi 4:6  5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Matthew 5: 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

TEACHING THE NEW BELIEVER TO OBSERVE ALL SCRIPTURES

Explain to the new believer the resourses availabel in the church that will help them to grow in their new life in Christ. The pastors and the leaders must help get the new believer baptized according to the Holy Scriptures and must help them with prayer and their learning needs so that they can grow in the word of God. Take the new believer's information and give them information on our gatherings with the designated place and time. Get the new believer into our discipleship classes as soon as possible.

Matthew 28:18-20  18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen

God richly bless you and we are glad to welcome you into the body of Christ.
